Frame Components on T Kennel Systems

Our patented "T" drain system is at the heart of T Kennel designs. Instead of forcing personnel to walk and drag hoses through waste, our design allows the initial hose down to be done from outside the kennel. Animal waste is quickly washed into the covered drain at the rear of each unit. The entire process takes only minutes. Here's how it works for a standard Double Kennel:
  1. Turn on valve for flush water line to start water flow in trench drain.
  2. Open the sliding vertical door (from either end), and the animal will naturally move to the opposite end. When you lower the door, the unit is ready for cleaning.
  3. Spray down the floors and walls to initiate the breakdown of fecal matter.
  4. After the wetted run sits for a few minutes, hose the urine and fecal matter under the "T" drain cover at the rear of each kennel, utilizing the sloping floor to enhance drainage. The waste will be deflected by the "T" drain cover into a flow of water running through the sloped trench drain below, and will be carried to a drain outlet or catch basin before entering the sewer system.
  5. Disinfect run with a suitable solution. Spray run down with cleaners and disinfectants; rinse; let dry. That's all there is to it! The time you save cleaning can be used for other animal care or customer assistance.

Our Kennels
adapt to other
drain systems

Our kennels may be used in new construction with concrete sloping floors and a built-in trench drain, or they can be free-standing units draining to a floor drain outlet. Flush water lines are required to assure a constant flow of waste to drain outlets for more than three kennels in a row.

The full "T" drain cover bridges the trench drain, and the half "T" drain cover is mounted to the rear wall. This system promotes sanitation and prevents any cross-contamination. A 1-1/2 inch gap between the floor and the bottom of the drain cover provides over 60 square inches of unobstructed drain opening.
A modern
design, using
modern
technology
Our prefabricated kennel panels combine the latest developments in materials and technology. The solid panel sections use a smooth acrylic PVC exterior. All joints are sealed with a sealant to provide years of service with minimal maintenance. Seven-gauge, slotted welded wire is stronger and more long-lasting than chain link mesh. The steel-framed panel tubing is hot dip galvanized after fabrication which protects both the interior and exterior of the tubing to ensure durability and long life. Attractive, durable powder coated finish is also available in a variety of colors.  Chain link systems just can't compare to the T Kennel system.

Other materials may be substituted upon request. Ask about stainless steel options.
